Looks like I might need to run a windows repair. Try to go to the quarantine treat list and check for such. It will just be an exercise in futility. Yes I think you could be correct and I have been wondering the same thing. Could it be faulty in XP but operate ok in W7? The system is a dual boot and the nic is fine for that OS? I guess a different set of drivers it will work fine in 7. I have not tried that option as yet but will give it a go.
