Thanks Thanks for the super fast reply. Not great news, but useful information. At least I won't have to waste any more time trying to convert it. Thanks a lot. Not sure if this will work While it's not great news that you'll have to do a few more steps to get a recorded file, there's something here that you may have overlooked.
Quick-records are far more powerful than a simple recorded audio file. Say you listen to that quick-record you made and you realize that you have a little too much reverb. You can change it on the module without having to perform the drum part over.
Don't like the snare? Change it and then hit the play button. Very cool. Originally posted by mbnasir6 View Post. All rights reserved. Find all posts.
View Profile. TD9 files , PM. Hi guys, First post on here so be kind! I've very recently bought a TD9-K kit, and am making my way around all the settings and functions.
Can anyone shed some light for me on how I get it to play on the PC? Tags: None. Anyone correct me if I'm wrong, but analyzing the file I think it's a file format used only by Roland.
Therefore I think you cannot play it on your PC. Comment Post Cancel. Although many software packages share certain file types, some file types must be opened in binary format. Binary format is a fancy way of saying that it has to be opened in the program in which it was created.
In a nutshell, either you're missing the correct software, or your file associations are wrong. You can download Binary Data to open your TD9 file. This will ensure that you view the file exactly as intended, unless the TD9 file is corrupt. You may also Google to find out if other software packages use the same file format, and download that. Navigate to your file associations settings on your Windows or Mac computer, and create a file association for TD9 files.
