Renfe trains wifi

What you have to do is enter the WiFi connections section of your mobile and connect to PlayRenfe, which will be available on those trains that have the service. When you connect, the mobile will automatically open its web browser. This is like hotel WiFi, you have to complete the process through the browser before you can connect. Here, you will first see an information page where you have to click on the Access PlayRenfe option that will come after all the explanation.

This will take you to another page, where you have to choose the method by which you want to connect. There are three different methods, and you can choose the one that is easiest for you. This is what you have available:. With my ticket number. If you do not have a membership card, you can connect simply with the ticket number of your journey. With a promotional code. On some international routes, you will be given a promotional code to connect.

Depending on the method you choose, you may be asked for different information to complete your identification. You may also be asked for your phone number to confirm your identity with a confirmation message. Once you finish the process and click on Sign In, you will be able to surf the Internet. Playrenfe hasn't been long on the market, but my experience with this service is rather poor so far.

Besides having a ridiculous low data allowance --uploading a picture taken with your phone camera to Facebook already uses Mb! My opinion is that this service is currently good for basic Internet stuff: whatsapp, checking email, reading the paper I get that it's not easy to provide stable Internet connectivity to a horse running at mph, maybe the quality of the service will pick up in the future Thanks Enric. I have been struggling through those reverted to Spanish pages on the 'english' Renfe site and did seem to get most of those details.

I also appreciate the feedback on the calibre of the wifi. I would want to use it for researching next city plans, so accessing websites on my tablet. But if images take that long to load, as it wouldn't be via a mobile website necessarily then it might be too frustrating to be worth it.
