Lost planet colonies patch

I never had any issues with gfwl myself. Same here. I have no issues with GFWL. But some GFWL games will not let you save without being connected to live. Last edited by MancSoulja ; 3 Jul, pm.

The real problem is not GFWL, but the fact that this game use the old legacy method. I know this thread is a bit old, but I just wanted to point out that there's only an activation limit with the GFWL legacy method if you want to play online. If you want to play single player using a local offline profile, you can install the game on as many machines you want to, and you never even have to touch the Internet.

I don't know if that's how it is with the Steam version of Lost Planet Colonies, but I know that's how the retail version works. Batman: Arkham Asylum, Resident Evil 5, Dark Souls, and a few more work the same way in retail although I'm pretty sure all those require Steam to be running if you buy the Steam versions.

GFWL needs a one time activation with their service, otherwise we'd all have to find cracks which I'd rather not do since those sites tend to be ripe with viruses.
