Post by Johnisfaster » Sat Sep 16, am I'm not implying anyone should steal the sample library either. Post by nebulae » Sat Sep 16, pm I agree that Abes have a right to make money However, note that bandwidth concerns are legit. There are thousands of Live users, and this prog gets more and more popular with every version, every award it gets, etc.
There are demos, multiple computer platforms, and movie downloads. And the forum is non-stop. I'd recon the Abes have bumped up their bandwidth several times in the past few years. Do you remember as recently as last year when their server would come to a crawl whenever a Live 5 update was released? A P2P solution might work, but for a large 5gb download, boxed version is probably best. As for my two cents, I won't be getting the EIC I neither have 5gb of space in my hard drive, nor do I want the rote samples being offered on that list.
Unless I can clearly hear the demos, I ain't buying it. I promise you that the sample library has lisencing that prohibits you from sharing it with all your little live buddies for using.
